99 Bottles Taproom & Bottle Shop

The place to hang out in downtown Sarasota.

I have wanted to write about 99 Bottles for a long time. It is my favorite place to hang out in downtown Sarasota. And you know why? It has an interesting concept, a vibe that captures something intangible, harmonious, and bohemian. It refers to the unique energy and sense of creativity and balance.

Whenever I find places to hang out, like 99 Bottles, my curiosity naturally turns to those who created them. This place has been infused with a lot of personality and character. Every element reflects a thoughtful touch, from the mural art on the walls to the carefully crafted menu and the unique selection of drinks. The owner’s vision is palpable in every corner, creating an aesthetically pleasing space and deeply resonant with the community it serves.

Situated in downtown Sarasota, 99 Bottles has offered a unique experience since 2019. Mark Tuchman, who previously owned Mr. Beery’s in Gulf Gate, opened 99 Bottles to craft a unique space for beer enthusiasts. The bar features 34 taps of craft beer and 36 wines by the glass, along with elevated bar bites and shareable snacks. The establishment is well-loved for its inviting, family-friendly atmosphere and community events, such as the recent block party celebrating its fifth anniversary (Your Observer) (Sarasota Magazine) (Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce).

For those looking to relax, connect, and savor the finer things in life, 99 Bottles in Sarasota is a must-visit.
