About the Flight Selection
Cismontane Brewing Co. | Rancho Santa Margarita, CA | 6% ABV | $13.99/16.9oz (Regular $14.99)
A new school testament to the tradition of brewing beer with grapes. It is a blend of 25% Santa Lucia highland Riesling from Mer Soleil Vineyard and 75% Pilsner from Cismontane. This beer is brewed entirely with Nelson Sauvin hops. Soured with Lactobacillus to enhance the natural grape acidity and fermented with a blend of wine and beer yeast. This process highlights the flavors that beer and wine have in common. The collaboration beer made by longtime friends Charlie Wagner and Evan Weinberg.
La Fin Du Monde
Unibroue | Chambly, Québec, Canada| 9% ABV | $8.99/25.4oz
Floral bouquet aroma with notes of honey, spice, coriander, and malt. Mildly yeasty flavor with a complex palate of malt, fruit and spice notes followed by a smooth, dry finish.
Gigantic Brewing | Portland, OR | 8.5% ABV | $8.49/22oz
Shazoo Milk Stout is a rich imperial stout with chocolate, caramel and coffee notes. Milk sugars add the perfect amount of sweetness to the finish and add body. Label art by illustrator Travis Millard. Pair it with music from Y La Bamba, an eclectic indie folk pop band from Portland, Ore. lead by Luz Elena Mendoza.
10 Barrel Brewing Co. | Bend, OR | 6.8% ABV | $4.29/22oz
Have your beer photo featured on the beer’s website; tweet or Instagram #ApocalypseIPA. A Northwest American-Style IPA. The color comes through as a deep gold with orange hues. Fruity and citrusy hop aroma shines, with hints of pine resin. The four hop flavor dominates, re-enforcing the aroma with more citrus, fruity and piney notes. The malt character is clean and smooth with a unique toasted flavor (thanks to the generous helping of Victory malt), all held together by a firm bitterness. Apocalypse has a medium-bodied mouth feel, finishing crisp and dry. All of this results in a very drinkable IPA. 92/100 on RateBeer.com
