About the Flight Selection

Ta-Ta Wheat

Silver City Brewery | Bremerton, WA | 5.4% ABV | 30 IBU | $5.99/22oz
Join the cancer-fightin’ drinking team. A classic Silver City brew revived for the brewery’s 20th Anniversary, Ta-Ta Wheat Ale is a silky smooth American-style wheat beer packed with juicy, tropical flavor by Wai-Iti hops specially imported from New Zealand. A portion of the proceeds from this beer and related apparel will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Alba Scots Pine

Williams Bros. Brewing | City, ST | 7.5% ABV | 18 IBU | $2.80/11.2oz
A traditional Highland recipe, popular in Northern Scotland until the end of the 19th Century. This “Triple” style ale is spiced with sprigs of spruce and pine, harvested in the spring and brewed with only a small token handful of hops. Break out the goblets and pour with abandon. Rich, tawny and best enjoyed at room temperature.

Cozy-er Sweater

Iron Horse Brewery | Ellensburg, WA | 8.1% ABV | 35 IBU | $5.49/22oz
Imagine you have a sweater on, then you put on a mock turtleneck and a parka. That’s kinda like this beer. Who doesn’t love to be all bundled up and warm? We know we do. Iron Horse took some of their favorite cozy sweater recipes from years past and warmed it up a bunch. This is an imperial oatmeal stout aged on hard maple, giving you all the amazing stoutness you’d hope for plus that warm fuzzy feeling that comes with drinking it.

Ballast Point Brewing | San Diego, CA | 10% ABV | 91 IBU | $2.49/12oz
A huge, hoppy brew that will test your sea legs. Dorado Double IPA immediately hooks you with massive hops that never stop. Mash hopping, kettle hopping and dry hopping makes this beer a serious hop lover’s prize catch. It’s an amazingly drinkable, award-winning beer that’s as beautifully balanced as it is big. Pair it with Crab Rangoon, Pineapple Pound Cake, or Braised Pork Belly.

The Nitty Gritty – How it Works & FAQs

  • To participate: Step up to Checkout, present your valid I.D. and pay for your tasting. Then, come on back to the Tastings counter where we’ll get your pours started.
  • Yes, you may appear to be of-age to drink, but Washington State Law requires I.D. check to confirm both legal drinking age and unexpired identification.
    “No I.D. = No Drinking.”
  • You’re welcome to share your beers with others only after they’ve presented their valid I.D. to 99 Bottles staff.
  • Feel free to browse around the shop and visit with others while you enjoy your beer tastes.
  • The featured selection is limited to bottles on hand. If a selection sells out before the end of the week, it will be replaced with a new selection.
  • Munching on oyster crackers will help cleanse your palate between beers.
  • One Beer Flight Tasting per person daily, per WAC 314-02-105. If you’re taking the flight and have a Growler Taste Card you may add one taste from the fill station to reach your total daily serving limit of 10 ounces per person.
  • The nearest public restrooms are located at Sportsmans Warehouse and McDonalds.
