About the Flight Selection

Icicle Brewing Co. | Leavenworth, WA | 8.5% ABV |22 IBU | $6.49/22oz
A limited-release Biére de Garde style known in France as a “beer for keeping.” This #WAbeer asks, “Are you “barley” staying afloat in the seas of watered down beers?” Lucky for you, the brewers at Icicle are on Beerwatch 24/7 and have come to the rescue with a French style of beer that starts sweet and finishes dry. They’ve brewed a bronzed stud muffin running slow motion in the sand that delicately pulls you from the dangerous waters off Cheap Beer Isle. Don’t thank us— we’re just doing our job and keeping you safe, one great beer at a time.

Duchesse de Bourgogne

Verhaeghe | West-Vlaanderen, Belgium | 6% ABV | $13.99/25.4oz

Available year round. Bronze medalist, 2010 and 2012 North American Beer Awards, Scotch Ale.

The Nitty Gritty – How it Works & FAQs

  • To participate: Step up to Checkout, present your valid I.D. and pay for your tasting. Then, come on back to the Tastings counter where we’ll get your pours started.
  • Yes, you may appear to be of-age to drink, but Washington State Law requires I.D. check to confirm both legal drinking age and unexpired identification.
    “No I.D. = No Drinking.”
  • You’re welcome to share your beers with others only after they’ve presented their valid I.D. to 99 Bottles staff.
  • Feel free to browse around the shop and visit with others while you enjoy your beer tastes.
  • The featured selection is limited to bottles on hand. If a selection sells out before the end of the week, it will be replaced with a new selection.
  • Munching on oyster crackers will help cleanse your palate between beers.
  • One Beer Flight Tasting per person daily, per WAC 314-02-105. If you’re taking the flight and have a Growler Taste Card you may add one taste from the fill station to reach your total daily serving limit of 10 ounces per person.
  • The nearest public restrooms are located at Sportsmans Warehouse and McDonalds.
